I’m delighted to report that my feature film debut ‘This Kiss’ is now complete. It was officially accepted to premiere in the Melbourne Queer Film Festival held in March 2007.

This film was the culmination of over three year’s hard work. After many drafts of the script we went into production late 2006 with the assistance of the Australian Film Commission and several dedicated private investors. We shot for 13 days in regional Victoria with a small crew and two talented actors, Tamsin Gatewood and Mel Lockman.

I want to thank everyone who participated in this amazing process. You know who you are and you rock! For everyone else, I hope you can see ‘This Kiss’ sometime soon on the big or small screen.

In other good news ‘Three Months At Sea’ was recently recognised with a 'Highly Commended' mention at the Sydney Flickerfest International Short Film Festival 2007. It continues to screen around the world.
